Dallas Best Bars

When it comes to nightlife and dining out, there is no shortage of options in Dallas. If you think even for a minute that the nightlife in Dallas is incomparable to the ones you can find in downtown Manhattan, Los Angeles or Las Vegas, then you are going to be in for a surprise. In a good way, of course. In Dallas, we serve up the nightlife in multiple flavors....some more local than others. The trick is to hit the internet to find out more about what you can expect from a bustling downtown area like bus charter Dallas metropolis.

At 2008, Greenville Avenue is a place called Suede Bar and Grille which some of our charter bus Dallas customers thought was going to be swinging with cowboys and old school decor but much to their surprise, Suede Bar is anything but that. Along the suede-theme furniture, you can find the hippest, coolest and people from all ages hanging out to good music and having perfectly friendly conversations as the DJ runs through his music list. Many Dallas singles hang out at this place to find a new friend over martinis. It is one of the more modern bus charter Dallas clubs and pub we have here in downtown Dallas. Give them a call at 214-828-1144 to find out more about reservations and group bookings.

If what you are looking for a good ole time out with friends over a great meal during your bus charter Dallas trip, then we are going to point you in the direction of Baby Dolls Saloon which is located along Shady Trail. The entertainment here is taken to new heights as they showcase some of the most enticing, sexiest and talented dancers in Dallas. This club is the perfect place to have your bachelor or bachelorette party or just a night out with the boys. Of course, apart from showcasing their dancers, Baby Doll Saloon features one of the meanest ribeye steak and chicken fried steak. If you prefer to come over for lunch, take advantage of the amazing buffet style meal available all weekday through from Monday to Friday.

Another place we would highly recommend is The Old Monk located at 2847 North Henderson Avenue. This bus charter Dallas Irish pub is located in the middle of a historical area and gives off a very comfortable, cosy old feeling. Just a place to hang out with your pals, have a small conference with business partners over a couple of drinks. The Old Monk is known for their awesome selection of beers.

Planning Your Party Bus Bar Crawl in Dallas

Are you looking around for a party bus so that you can party safely all night long with your friends? Perhaps this is your time to shine as an organizer of a friend’s bachelor or bachelorette party? Either way, we have some suggestions for you in terms of finding the best bars, clubs and nightspots to stop by. For one, there would be Black Swan Saloon, which most local Dallas residents consider as their hidden gem. Truth be told, the bar’s nightly entertainment is good and in a way, the locals prefer to keep this treasure to themselves. The bar prides itself in having the city’s most talented mixologists around. Staff are trained to be friendly and welcoming to newbies while maintaining a comfortable relationship with loyal visitors. Let’s just say that the mixologists know what they doing behind the bar. Forget about wrecking your brain about which potent cocktail to order, just speak easily to the man behind the bar and you will have your surprise drink in a short while.

Now that you are on the roll, before the night is over, make a quick Dallas bus charter stopover at Round-up Saloon Cedar Spring Road. The bar opened up for business since 1980 and has been maintaining a long line of loyal fans ever since. On some days, the owners put up an open mic session for their guests. The defining different between Round-up and other bars of its kind is that they are big on doing charity work, gives back to the community and are the main organizers of some daily events like dancing classes. They stay extremely connected to the community instead of operating as a mere business. It remains to be one of the city’s top gay bars and it would be absolutely fun for your Dallas party bus bachelorette party!

To end the night with a big bag, visiting Ships Lounge would be an ideal option. Said to be Dallas’ ‘time capsule’ because it is almost completely devoid of fanfare and frills. They are big on their drinks and that is the way they like it - for you party-goers, this can only mean one thing....time to let your hair down and party hard. Make full use of their pool table, incredibly affordable drinks and be sure to check out the ‘almost extinct’ jukebox which plays many old timers’ songs. People know that there is lack of pretentiousness at Ships Lounge and they expect you to come as you are. The laid-back atmosphere means that you can have the time of your life without worrying about someone judging you.

So, there you have it...three of the best Dallas bars and lounges for your gathering or bachelor or bachelorette party. We hope you have tons of fun!

Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Dallas

It is always fun when parents bring their children out for fun – especially for a special trip to a museum in a chartered Dallas bus. And the fun doubles up, or even triples up when their friends get to come along too. When planning a trip to the Perot Museum of Nature & Science in Dallas, it would be so much more meaningful and fun when you bring your kids and their friends with them.

Nature and science have always caused much wonders to the human minds, and museums such as the Perot Museum of Nature & Science makes learning fun. Before school starts, why not charter a Dallas bus and load your children and their friends into it and make it an out of school learning experience for them – something like a field trip, but only difference is this one is organized by the parents instead of the school?

Going for trips on chartered buses are always thrilling for the kids. There’s just something about being on the same bus with their friends and knowing that they are going somewhere fun makes it all the more exciting for them. When you arrive at the Perot Museum of Nature & Science, don’t be too surprised if the kids are already chattering loudly in exhilaration as they get off the bus – other than being happy to be with their friends in the bus, they are as equally happy, if not more, to arrive at the destination, especially one where they know they will get to roam and explore with much freedom!

Said to be a “world of wonder” by The Dallas Morning News, the Perot Museum of Nature & Science, is truly a place of learning while you have fun at the same time. As you explore the museum with the kids, you will learn how the museum allows kids (young and old alike!) to be exposed to the world of ideas and theories in science, mathematics and technology within its vicinity. Everyone will get the opportunity to get their hands on the interactive displays and exhibits and learn a thing or two about the world around us. If you have among yourselves those who aspire to be scientists, professors, engineers and the likes, they will have great inspirations from their visit to this museum. When it comes to learning about the world around us, age is never an issue. Even the adults will be as amazed as the kids when they discover something new from this museum. So, what are you waiting for? Call up the Dallas charter bus company and book a bus to take the kids out for some new fun learning experience!

Klyde Warren Park

One way to relax after a week’s of working hard at the office is to take a stroll in a beautiful park, have a picnic with some friends or your family, enjoy the beauty of nature, jogging, cycling or just sitting under a huge tree and do some catching up on reading your favorite book. If you are “dying” for some fresh air and sunshine, hop onto one of our bus charter in Dallas and have the bus driver send you to Klyde Warren Park for your fresh air and sunshine!

On weekdays, Klyde Warren Park is abuzz with activities and it increases over the weekends, so if you like, you can take part and join in the fun of the activities while you are there. If you prefer to have a quiet time on your own on the bus charter Dallas trip, there are also places within the park where you can have your own “cave time”. Seats in the park are aplenty, so you can pick and choose the spot you like and just enjoy the beautiful park while you people watch. The park is also dog friendly, so don’t be surprised to see dogs running around with their owners and having a good time playing catch.

If you do not wish to leave the park to grab a bite at one of the nearby restaurants, you could always pack a light lunch for yourself to eat at the park. Actually, once you set foot on Klyde Warren Park, it would seem quite difficult to leave because of the relaxing ambience there. Besides, the park is about 5.2 acre in size, surely there is so much more to see, so you don’t really have a reason to leave to go elsewhere for lunch!

Also, there are food trucks that are parked along the Klyde Warren Park, so you can always buy some food from them and eat them at the park – just be sure to dispose the leftovers (if any) properly, as we would want to keep the park clean for others too, right? After all, the park is free admission, so everyone should play their part in keeping the park clean for all to use and enjoy.

After a fun bus charter Dallas outing at Klyde Warren Park, you will want to make trips there as often as possible to relax and chill out – but don’t forget to get our Bus Charter Dallas service to send you to the park whenever you want.

Going Greek in Dallas

The Fort Worth Greek Festival takes place annually over the second weekend in November. Admission is free, and the festival, being mainly indoors, takes place come rain or shine. The venue for the event is the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church on 21st Street in Fort Worth, Texas. The Greek Food Festival of Dallas takes place on the last Saturday of September each year at the Holy Trinity Green Orthodox Church on Hillcrest Road. Plan a trip to Dallas Fort Worth with a bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus, passenger coach or school bus charted from Bus Charter Dallas and go Greek in Texas during festival time.
The church of St. Demetrios has its own troupe of dancers, the St. Demetrios Greek Dancers, who perform traditional folk dances from across the Greek islands. The dancers are all parishioners of the church who are dedicated to learning from the older members of the congregation and their mission is to ensure this traditional art form is not lost. The choreographed dances are formal and performed in costume. They depict celebration, preparation for war, and expressions of love and marriage. The dancers are scheduled for approximately eight performances on the center stage each day of the festival. A strolling bouzouki player moves through the public areas for the entire festival, keeping the party spirit lively amongst Dallas charter bus visitors and encouraging not a little plate-smashing.
Traditional Greek cuisine is served throughout the festival, and cooking demonstrations are given according to a pre-published schedule. Members of the congregation share secrets of the traditional Greek kitchen as well as recipes, including master classes in such well-known dishes as baklava, souvlaki, taramasalata and tzatziki, as well as many lesser-known specialties. Purchasing food is done by token, not by cash or any other means; tokens are available near the entry to the church. Lunch specials are chosen from three entree options and served with salad and a side; dinner from two specials. An a la carte menu is also available that features such favorites as gyros and Dolmathes. Baked and frozen goods are on sale for charter bus visitors to enjoy at home.
The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church is open to charter bus visitors on both the Friday and the Saturday of the festival. No formal tours are arranged, but the church is staffed with knowledgeable docents who can explain the significance of the holy objects and their symbolism, as well as the religion's customs and sacraments. The church choir gives a performance on both nights the church is open. The Hellenic Culture center on the grounds of the church is also open to visitors throughout the festival. The center focuses on Greek traditions, both ancient and modern, and how those traditions feature in the everyday lives of Greek Americans and adherents of the Orthodox faith particularly.
Celebrate all things Greek at the Greek festival during your charter bus visit to Dallas Fort Worth. Give Bus Charter Dallas a call and let their friendly and efficient staff help your plan all your charter bus transport requirements.

Dallas is famous for its barbeques, and there is no better taste for charter bus diners to get this unique taste of Dallas than at Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse.  This barbecue franchise has been a Dallas institution since 1910.  Sonny Bryan's Smokehouse received the James Beard Foundation award for Culinary excellence in 2000 and has appeared on many lists of the top barbecue places in America.  Favorites here include the pulled chicken, brisket and onion rings.  There are six locations throughout Dallas, with hours and days open varying by location.

Located on the 27th floor of the Hilton Anatole, and easily reached by charter bus, Nana Restuarant is a gourmet restaurant with a brilliant view of the Dallas skyline. Nana´s decor is sleek and lavish: beige interiors with rich wooden accents and a private collection of priceless Asian art adorning its walls.   Selections like the seared scallops served with barley tabbouleh, spiced yogurt and fried pasta give you an idea of the ingenuity behind Nana´s menu, and the restaurant carries an equally impressive wine list, with hundreds of domestic and international varieties in its cellar. The Bar at Nana provides additional cocktail service, a separate dinner and dessert menu, as well as occasional night entertainment, perfect for a charter bus group looking for a night out in Dallas.

Opening in 2010, the Meddlesome Moth is a fine gastro-pub that was included on "D" magazine's list of the Best New Restaurants in Dallas.  This restaurant serves a menu of fine pub-style foods such as rabbit meat pie, Prince Edward Island mussels and chilled poached tuna.  In addition, charter bus diners can choose from a list of approximately 120 different beers, 40 of which are available on tap. Differently Dallas

Dallas, Texas, is the state’s largest city, and has seen significant moments of history over the decades. As you and your group move around Dallas in your charter bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus, passenger coach or school bus chartered from Bus Charter Dallas, put something a little different on your travel itinerary. Changes in schedule are something your charter bus driver can accommodate with ease, allowing you take your charter bus through Dallas and Texas according to your whim and fancy.
The most significant moment in Dallas history occurred in 1963, when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dealey Plaza on November 22nd by Lee Harvey Oswald. Head over in your charter and visit the Texas Book Depository, where Oswald hid on the sixth floor of the southwest corner of the building to take the fateful shot. The Sixth Floor, as the place is now called, preserves the sniper’s nest that Oswald built, and is supposedly laid out exactly the way it was the day he fired shot. Inside, charter bus visitors will also find exhibits and collections regarding that day, including photographs, film and other memorabilia, including a copy of the infamous Zapruder film, showing the assassination in its entirety.
As you step out of The Sixth Floor, before heading back to your charter bus, take a walk around Dealey Plaza. For years, the city of Dallas was undecided as to what was to become of the plaza, because of its association with President Kennedy’s assassination. The matter was settled in 1993, when the area was declared a national historic district. This meant that nothing could be changed or developed in the area externally, leaving Dealey Plaza looking much the way it did on the day of Kennedy’s death. Visitors can sprawl on the grassy knoll where the alleged second shot was fired, or try to spot the small "x" on the Elm Street pavement that marks the spot where at least one bullet hit the President. Vendors on the street sell fake newspapers dated 11/22/1963, with headlines about the assassination.
For more on the 60s, take a charter bus trip to the Eight-track Museum. This music format will be unfamiliar to anyone born in the 1980s onwards, but back in the 60 and 70s, was the only way to play recorded music in your car. The brainchild of record store owner and music producer Bucks Burnett, the houses about 3,000 cartridges, of which about a thousand are on display at any one time. Burnett has been collecting since 1988, when he realized that this particular music format would one day be no longer used, or seen, anywhere in the world. Displays include a Yoko Ono eight-track conceptually perched atop a white ladder and an over-sized mock-up of the infamously unpleasant Lou Reed release “Metal Machine Music.” There are also eight-track players of all shapes and sizes including a period car stereo store display.
For a different look at Dallas, give Bus Charter Dallas a call to find out how they can help you plan your charter bus trip with a selection from their fleet of fully equipped charter buses and friendly, personalized service.

Flying high in Texas skies

If you and your group are aviation enthusiasts, head into Dallas on a bus chartered from Bus Charter Dallas and visit the Cavanaugh Flight Museum. Located in the North Dallas suburb of Addison, the Cavanaugh Flight Museum is just a short ride away in your charter bus.
An educational organization dedicated to preserving and promoting aviation studies and the history of flight and American aviation heritage, the Cavanaugh Flight Museum is a not for profit organization that collects, preserves, maintains and flies historically significant aircraft.
The Flight Museum has a collection of over 50 aircraft, of which over 40 are airworthy. The rest are currently in various stages of restoration, waiting to be return to active flight duty, or are static display only, due to Department of Defense and FAA restrictions. The collection runs through the earliest eras of military flight, with two Fokkers and a Sopwith from World War I. Make a quick charter bus rental stop here to see that the majority of the collection focuses on warbirds from World War II. There are also examples of aircraft from the Korean and Vietnam conflicts, and the Cold War.
Pride of place goes to the only B-29 Superfortress that is still airworthy, “Fifi”. The collection covers bombers, fighters, trainers, helicopters, and other aircraft that served in various air forces from around the world. When your group visits the Cavanaugh Flight Museum, it is best to hire a bus from Bus Charter Dallas, as the airfield is large, and public access points are not readily accessible.
There is also a small collection of armor, jeeps, and civilian cars in the museum. These range from a Chrysler M50 Super Sherman tank, a General Motors DUKW amphibious vehicle to cars from the early 40s. You will also find a collection of 3 military trucks, the biggest of which is the 20 ton M818, also known as the “Dragon Wagon”.
The collection at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum is housed in hangars. Although this provides the aircraft with optimum protection, it can be hot inside the hangars during summer months, and visitors are advised to dress accordingly. Your fully air-conditioned charter bus will handle the heat with ease and keep you cool.
The highlight of a visit to the Flight Museum is the chance to take a flight in one of the museum’s restored historic aircraft. Rides are available on trainers such as a Boeing Stearman, a North American AT-6 Texan and a North American T-28B Trojan. Going up the scale, Warbird Rides on a B-26 Invader, AD-5 Skyraider and TBM-3 Avenger are sure the thrill the visitor. For the fastest thrill of all, hop into a P51-D Mustang for the flight of your life.
Paying a visit to the Cavanaugh Flight Museum will be made easier for your group when you give Bus Charter Dallas a call, and make use of our friendly, personalized service.

After all that food, rent a bike at Fleetwood KitKat's near SMU and go for a trip on the Katie Trail - a 12-foot-wide concrete bike trail and an 8-foot-wide parallel, soft-surface running path, that extends 3.5 miles from Airline Road to the American Airlines Center. Once you’re done, just the Mockingbird DART station near SMU to the West End in downtown Dallas.
Alternatively, you could join all those conspiracy theorists and form your opinion on what happened that fateful November day to JFK as you head over in your rented bus charter. Visit the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza hand peer out the window onto the grassy knoll and make your own mind up on whether one or two shots were fired.
Last but not least, it would be a sin not to visit Oak Cliff, home of the late blues legend Stevie Ray Vaughn. And you have to get your fill of blues at Amsterdam Bar on Tuesdays, The Goat on Mondays, and Brooklyn's. Who knows, you might be our very next Blues or even Country and Western star who rocked the night away in the comforts of a party bus with your family and friends.
