Flying high in Texas skies

If you and your group are aviation enthusiasts, head into Dallas on a bus chartered from Bus Charter Dallas and visit the Cavanaugh Flight Museum. Located in the North Dallas suburb of Addison, the Cavanaugh Flight Museum is just a short ride away in your charter bus.
An educational organization dedicated to preserving and promoting aviation studies and the history of flight and American aviation heritage, the Cavanaugh Flight Museum is a not for profit organization that collects, preserves, maintains and flies historically significant aircraft.
The Flight Museum has a collection of over 50 aircraft, of which over 40 are airworthy. The rest are currently in various stages of restoration, waiting to be return to active flight duty, or are static display only, due to Department of Defense and FAA restrictions. The collection runs through the earliest eras of military flight, with two Fokkers and a Sopwith from World War I. Make a quick charter bus rental stop here to see that the majority of the collection focuses on warbirds from World War II. There are also examples of aircraft from the Korean and Vietnam conflicts, and the Cold War.
Pride of place goes to the only B-29 Superfortress that is still airworthy, “Fifi”. The collection covers bombers, fighters, trainers, helicopters, and other aircraft that served in various air forces from around the world. When your group visits the Cavanaugh Flight Museum, it is best to hire a bus from Bus Charter Dallas, as the airfield is large, and public access points are not readily accessible.
There is also a small collection of armor, jeeps, and civilian cars in the museum. These range from a Chrysler M50 Super Sherman tank, a General Motors DUKW amphibious vehicle to cars from the early 40s. You will also find a collection of 3 military trucks, the biggest of which is the 20 ton M818, also known as the “Dragon Wagon”.
The collection at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum is housed in hangars. Although this provides the aircraft with optimum protection, it can be hot inside the hangars during summer months, and visitors are advised to dress accordingly. Your fully air-conditioned charter bus will handle the heat with ease and keep you cool.
The highlight of a visit to the Flight Museum is the chance to take a flight in one of the museum’s restored historic aircraft. Rides are available on trainers such as a Boeing Stearman, a North American AT-6 Texan and a North American T-28B Trojan. Going up the scale, Warbird Rides on a B-26 Invader, AD-5 Skyraider and TBM-3 Avenger are sure the thrill the visitor. For the fastest thrill of all, hop into a P51-D Mustang for the flight of your life.
Paying a visit to the Cavanaugh Flight Museum will be made easier for your group when you give Bus Charter Dallas a call, and make use of our friendly, personalized service.

Eat your wayhttp://buscharterdallas.com/ through Dallas with a visit to the Dallas Farmer's Market. A fixture in downtown Dallas for six decades and has grown to become a true Texas treasure. Plus point is there are so many free samples that you practically make a meal out them.
After all that food, rent a bike at Fleetwood KitKat's near SMU and go for a trip on the Katie Trail - a 12-foot-wide concrete bike trail and an 8-foot-wide parallel, soft-surface running path, that extends 3.5 miles from Airline Road to the American Airlines Center. Once you’re done, just the Mockingbird DART station near SMU to the West End in downtown Dallas.
Alternatively, you could join all those conspiracy theorists and form your opinion on what happened that fateful November day to JFK as you head over in your rented bus charter. Visit the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza hand peer out the window onto the grassy knoll and make your own mind up on whether one or two shots were fired.
Last but not least, it would be a sin not to visit Oak Cliff, home of the late blues legend Stevie Ray Vaughn. And you have to get your fill of blues at Amsterdam Bar on Tuesdays, The Goat on Mondays, and Brooklyn's. Who knows, you might be our very next Blues or even Country and Western star who rocked the night away in the comforts of a party bus with your family and friends.
There’s always something else to do and it’s always more fun when you travel by with bus in Dallas.
